You can keep track of your medications within your My Health Record.
A list of your medications is shown in the 'Documents' section in the 'Medicines Information' view.
This gets information from different parts of your My Health Record and presents them in lists. Your doctors, pharmacists and hospitals will also be able to see these lists, which can assist them in treating you.
There are three lists available:
Allergies and adverse reactions and medicines information
This includes medicines, allergies and adverse reactions.
Prescription and dispense record
For example, when a doctor prescribes a medicine for you, or a pharmacist dispenses it to you, records of these may be uploaded to your record.
This includes information from Medicare, and may include information about medical and pharmaceutical claims, organ donor decisions, and immunisations.
